Wing Night Wednesdays with 50 cent wings. Their wings are good. Crispy, with lots of sauce choices. Pub style decor. TV's at the bar. Good service.

Nice ambiance, cool staff . If I am going to go out for a drink in hendersonville I will usually go to the Black Rose .

Local English style pub with pub fare. Has outside seating as well. Inside seating has small booths and table tops for 4.

What do I love most about Black Rose? Unlike other bars, "Hannah's", I've never once been harassed for being disabled. The food is great and the people who work there are really nice.

Really like coming to this place. Nice atmosphere and good food. I would have given 5 stars but the bathrooms were horrible. Dirty and big holes in the wall. I always wonder if the bathrooms are nasty what is the kitchen like?

We went on wing night and the food was just okay, although the wings were cheap. The beer cheese that came with the pretzel was goopy and too thick, and oversalted (along with the pretzel). Service was spotty (we sat for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us). I think it's a fine bar, but I don't think I'll go back for dinner anytime soon.

Every time I come to North Carolina I have to stop in here. Best wings I’ve ever had. The Carolina reaper flavor cannot be beat!

Food was OK, and the service was good until the end. There were 4 couples in our group, and our waitress simply placed all 4 invoices in a pile and left us to sort them out. She did the same when she returned our credit card receipts to be signed. I've never seen that happen before.

We went there for Sunday lunch. We had a 2 year old and asked that his meal be served first. His meal was delivered quickly but the rest of the group (5 adults) had to wait another 45 minutes for our food. The food was decent, meal portions were good but service was lacking. The most attention we got from the server was when payment was due. I should have known better when Hannah Flanagan's down the street had a 20 minute wait for a table and the Black Rose was half empty.

Great bar, nice beer selection and good bar food. Good place to watch sports events.

Great entrees. I love a good burger. These are great burgers! Beef, Bison, and occasionally Elk. They have really good sweet potato fries as well. Something that I really appreciate them placing on the table is Organic Ketchup and Sea Salt. Bye, bye high fructose corn syrup.

This is a good place to get some food and drinks, I personally would not stay here for long. 🍻Definitely a great place to visit with friends, not with family tho. I loved the atmosphere, and the vibes, but definitely a little hot inside . There is also a litte terrace which I loved. The staff overall was very nice and friendly .. There is NO VARIETY in their food menu.

Food was delicious. Definitely worth stopping by after leaving asheville.

Visited here on St Patrick's day, the place was hopping. I had a couple pints of Guinness draft and a dish of Sheppard's pie. Delicious.

Best craft brew selection in Hendersonville. Great food and service as well.

I am so very glad that they have brought back the Dark Cloud beer!! Amazing! This time, we split the Reuben, and it was fabulous. Normally, I get the wonderful Shepherds Pie. The service top-notch - no, make that over the top!

We sat at a table and waited for 10+ mins. Unfortunately none of the servers checked or took our order.We left for another local ( we are locals) place, much better service.

Great place been here a bunch always a staple and good spot to start with on a evening out when meeting people, to venture off to hit up other area attractions. Very easy to find and good beers good food and nice atmosphere.

We love exploring all varieties of food. This is one of our passions. The Black Rose offers good food and drinks. You should go as soon as you read this and tell them we sent you. They probably won't remember us but it adds some familiar stuff to the visit. So good eat, drink and be merry.

The fried pickles are wonderful. Today we had the BST ,bacon spinach and tomato, and the barbecue cheddar burger. Great food best service on Main St.

Great late night eatery! The loaded nachos are always my go to here, however the wings are delicious as well! Different variety of foods to choose from. Wide selection of beer available. Food is always a little slow coming out, even on slow days but it’s definitely worth the wait.

Its pretty nice. The back porch is the best part. Sure wish they would have the upstairs open more often. It's boring around here. Pool is fun.

Great food, they need to hire more staff. We waited 15min for someone to even acknowledge us, and then it was a 30min wait for our food. This has been my experience the last 2 time in a 2 month span. Now don't get me wrong if your not in a hurry then it is worth the wait.

I visit the Black Rose Pub every time I go to Hendersonville. Over the years I can say it has consistently been great. Menu is small, but that's good, the meals they serve have been perfected. My favorite is the Banger's and Mash generous portion, flavorful, one if a kind sausge. My wife gets the Fish and Chips. What I love about the Fish and chips is the flavor and firmness of the Fish. Most of the times fish and chips can be soggy. Fish is fresh and firm. The batter is ok. I think it could be a bit better more flavorful but still good. Chips are good. Coleslaw is ok, not overly impressed. Shepard's pie is very good. Great marble rye bread and corned beef. Overall always a good place to stop.

Not a terrible place, but nothing exceptional food wise. The atmosphere is fine, and the music is excellent, but the food quality is equivalent to fast food, but far more expensive. Beer and wine selection is fairly small compared to other establishments in downtown Hendersonville. It is essentially an over priced McDonald's that sells alcohol.

It's about the coolest place in Hendo for those that still have pigment in their hair. Lots of good craft beers and decent pub grub.

Not sure if they are still in business. Website says open till midnight. Called and immediately went to a voice mail box that was full.

Best service we’ve ever had in Hendersonville! Lauren was fantastic! Our delicious meals came quickly to the table while we were enjoying our ice cold beers from the extensive list of drafts. Never disappointed here. Great pub ambience. Wonderful place to meet friends.

Great place to hang out with friends for food and drink. Lunches are delicious. This time we sat at the bar for a few drinks and had a lot of fun. Make this a place to stop when you are in Hendersonville.

We keep hearing upcharge of $3 over and over from the waitress. Just wanted The French fries were soggy enough I had to order gravy to cover up. The gravy was sweet. It you order the steak samwich it tastes good however it would s sparse and no flavor in the steak. The mushrooms and onions carried the flavor into the bread. The hamburger tastes great however we ordered it med-well and it came out med- rare. Fearful or how you order a burger but they are great. Huge glasses of wine for only $5.50! Let's drink here.Waiteress Fabyana was great!

This place didn’t even pop up on our search for places to eat downtown which was surprising! Several places that came up were pricey or had limited menues. So, we decided to park and walk around to see what we wanted. We are so glad we did!!! Everything about this place was exactly what we were looking for; the atmosphere, the menu, the beer and the price. I chose the house salad and added steak. Perfection! My husband got the bangers and our son got the fish and chips. We all loved our meals (and each other’s as we allowed each other samples). If we lived closer, we’d eat here every night! Oh and the service was outstanding (I really should’ve mentioned that first).

This bar & grill was highly recommended to us, so we gave it a try! I tried their grilled chicken sandwich and the onion rings. Both were very good! The onion rings were huge and there was plenty to share.

Always love this place. One of our Hendersonville favs. And the Irish Nachos were over the top tonight. 😊

Sports bar with very good food. Price is reasonable. Stop in and enjoy your self. It's said to be the best burgers in Hendersonville and my was first class. You won't be disappointed. There is a large helping of fries served with the burgers. My wife had the Ruben sandwich and said it was excellent. I recommend this place

The food is REALLY good. I had the portabella burger and my husband had the bbq burger. We both cleaned our plates. The waitress was great, shoulder length brown hair, can’t remember her name. The beers were good too and this place is pretty inexpensive for what you get. Overall a great restaurant!

We love it here. Great service and food. We come every Wednesday for wings and drinks. Staff is always friendly and professional. Very popular with the locals and they have a great variety of eats on the menu. Some excellent drink specials too.

We really enjoyed our late lunch here. It looks nice inside and has a great area outside as well. Our waitress was very informative and kind. We enjoyed chatting with her. They have a good selection of delicious brews on tap. The burgers were big and tasty. The onion rings were just as fine. We will definitely be back.
